We recently partnered with Woodleys Motors to implement a seamless transition to Telstra IP Telephony, enhancing communication efficiency, scalability and collaboration.

Entourage Technology worked with the team to update their phone system to Cloud-based Telstra IP Telephony.

Woodleys Motors is a prominent Tamworth business and has been a lead player in the automotive industry since its inception in 1919. Entourage Technology partnered with the team at Woodleys for a telephony update, which aimed to transition Woodleys Motors from an outdated on-premises phone system to Telstra IP Telephony, a cloud-based solution.

The comprehensive upgrade involved a seamless integration for 93 users, including 88 handsets and the installation of 5 IP paging adapters to integrate their legacy PA systems and augment them with IP capability. The project also involved a speed upgrade to the Telstra Internet Direct (TID) fibre service to provide increased capacity across the business.

Our team worked hand in hand with Woodleys and their IT provider throughout the project planning phases to ensure that there was seamless implementation of the solution, to minimise any disruption and downtime for Woodley’s that rely heavily on their voice solution for sales and customer service.

The successful implementation of the telephony upgrade resulted in enhanced communication efficiency for Woodleys Motors. The cloud-based solution not only provides flexibility but also paves the way for scalability as the company continues to grow in the future.

Our phone system was outdated – from handset functions to our PA system capabilities. Replacing all handsets throughout the Dealership was going to be a huge task in itself. From the initial steps of selecting the products to the complete changeover was nothing but exceptional. Working closely with Chris Ash, office staff and Technicians at Entourage during this process has been nothing but a pleasure. They have gone above and beyond to meet our Dealerships needs and wants.

The weeks/days leading up to the system changeover was extremely well planned, doing anything they could to minimise the impact on the daily running of the Dealership when it comes to the switching of systems. The exact downtime that external calls were affected was only 10 minutes - exceeding Dealership Management’s expectations exponentially.

Even weeks after the system was changed over – Entourage have continued to be an integral part of our new system. Minor tweaks, training and researching the systems capabilities to ensure we get the most from the products to suit our business’ needs. With the new functions available to us now, the efficiency of managing the hundreds of calls through the Dealership on a daily basis have increased considerably.
